A student-led volunteer service in Grayslake, IL

Neighbors helping neighbors, one task at a time.

Free, friendly help with everyday tasks for seniors who live alone — with a special focus on the veterans who served us.

Small acts of service, big difference.

Students for Seniors is a student-led volunteer group founded by Justin Mottola, a high school senior who believes small acts of service can make a big difference. We connect local student volunteers with seniors who live alone and could use a helping hand with everyday tasks — walking the dog, weeding the garden, carrying groceries, yard work, or simply some friendly company.

Our services are completely free. While we proudly place a special focus on serving the veterans who served us, Students for Seniors is here for any senior in need in Grayslake and nearby Lake County communities. If you or someone you know could use a hand, reach out — we'd love to help.
